Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
